UNITED WAY ROMANIA
United Way Romania is a leading non-pro昀椀t organisation
focused on strengthening communities through
programmes in education, 昀椀nancial stability, and
health. With a mission to improve lives through giving
and volunteerism, United Way supports thousands of
vulnerable individuals every year, especially children at risk
of dropping out of school due to poor literacy skills.
Through The Access Foundation grants, employee
fundraising and Access matching, c. 699,750 lei was
donated. With the Foundation grant United Way Romania
created Reading Adventure programme, an initiative
that will enable 360 disadvantaged children to develop
essential literacy skills and improve their educational
outcomes.
In addition to The Access Foundation’s grant, employeeled fundraising played a vital role in advancing United
Way Romania’s mission. Access teams demonstrated
creativity and commitment through a wide range of
engaging initiatives such as Halloween Charity Fair,
Christmas Cooking Fair, Easter Egg Hunt and a Gala Event.
Beyond fundraising, Access employees also gave their
time, volunteering with United Way to create a reading
corner for local children. This initiative re昀氀ects our holistic
approach to social impact, combining 昀椀nancial support
with meaningful, hands-on community engagement.

driving social change in their communities.
