Our Community
OUR COMMUNITY IMPACT
At Access, we believe in supporting the
communities and causes close to our hearts.
We run an active programme of charitable
giving and community engagement through
our employee-led initiatives and The Access
Foundation, to create a lasting, positive impact
within the communities where we operate.
EMPLOYEE-DRIVEN CHARITABLE
ENGAGEMENT
Each year, Access empowers our global
workforce to participate actively in selecting
nine local charity partners by asking
employees to share causes which are
personally meaningful to them.
This initiative fosters a culture of empathy,
inclusion, and purpose. Once selected via an
employee vote, the chosen charities bene昀椀t
from 昀椀nancial support as all employee-driven
fundraising throughout the year is totaled and
Access contributes the same amount, doubling
the impact. The charities also receive a grant
from The Access Foundation for a speci昀椀c
measurable project.
In FY25, Access continued
to advance its global social
impact by partnering with
nine charitable organisations
across nine di昀昀erent countries,
contributing a combined total
of £1.55m in support of local
causes.
With a network of 150 champions across nine
countries, both local and global fundraising
e昀昀orts were coordinated successfully. Our
employees showed outstanding dedication
to giving back, taking part in a wide range
of fundraising initiatives, both local and
international, that united multiple countries
in support of their respective local charities.
Highlights included an Olympic-themed
competition and the Create for Change contest,
where employees showcased their creative
talents, contributing to a combined total of over
£4,000. Our global senior leadership conference,
Ignite, raised an impressive £18,000, reinforcing
our commitment to purpose-driven leadership.
Seasonal events, such as the Halloween Quiz
and festive virtual caroling which spanned
multiple countries generated a combined
£5,000, and the highly successful Giving Tuesday
double-matching campaign raised £28,000
globally, further demonstrating the passion and
generosity of our global workforce.
VOLUNTEERING AND COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT
We understand that giving back extends
beyond 昀椀nancial donations, and we
encourage our employees to also give
their time and voice to support their
communities.
Access o昀昀ers every employee at least one
additional day of paid leave each year to
volunteer in their communities or support
causes close to their hearts. This initiative
enables direct social contribution and reinforces
employee well-being and engagement.
In FY25, our employees dedicated some 10,405
hours to supporting local causes.
Alongside individual volunteering, teams across
our global o昀케ces took part in a wide range
of organised activities tailored to local needs.
Employees supported causes close to home,
from organising blood donation drives in
Romania, to beach clean-ups in New Zealand
and the United Kingdom, and planting trees in
Romania to support local reforestation e昀昀orts.
Teams also joined river and canal cleanup e昀昀orts in both Romania and the United
Kingdom, and shared their expertise by running
CV and interview skills workshops for students
in the United Kingdom.
