Early careers
Access has comprehensive Early Career
Programmes operating across multiple
geographies. We have safeguarding processes
and track our 300+ early career professionals
within a variety of graduate, internship,
placement and apprenticeship roles to ensure
high levels of retention, engagement, wellbeing
and inclusion. Our programmes have structured
trainings, assessment criteria, support systems
and development plans which is re昀氀ected in our
Early Careers positive eNPS score of +57.

Communication, direction setting and
enterprise-wide goal alignment
At Access, open communication is both
encouraged and expected. As a people-昀椀rst
business, dialogue is essential – it boosts
operations, enhances morale, and supports
wellbeing.
We encourage communication at every level –
Group, divisional, functional and local – across
a wide array of topics including business
performance, operational issues, environmental
matters, employee welfare, and more.
To ensure every single employee in the business
can clearly and easily align their personal work
objectives with Access’ strategic organisational
objectives we run a process of communicating
strategic goals for the coming year to all
employees during our “Kick-o昀昀 week”. This
took place at the very beginning of FY25 and
organises goals into 昀椀ve domains:
From there, all employees are asked to align
their personal objectives with one or more
of these strategic goal areas during regular
Performance and Development Reviews.
These are recorded, and then thoughtfully
tracked and reviewed between employees
and their managers over time. This has
proven to be a highly e昀昀ective process and
our engagement score focused on goal
setting is +71 which is in the top 5% of all
technology companies per our monthly
benchmark.
