Giving back
We encourage all Access employees to get
involved in meaningful, socially responsible
initiatives, which bene昀椀t our communities and
also strengthen collaboration, team spirit, and
skill development.
Every year we invite our employees to suggest
the good causes they would most like Access
to organise our charitable e昀昀orts around
for the year, and from these suggestions a
selection of charities are proposed back to
them. Employees then vote on their favourites,
and a 昀椀nal set of nine charities are selected
for the year, each of which then receives both
a substantial 昀椀nancial grant and signi昀椀cant
employee volunteering time from Access,
galvanised through our 150 Giving Back
Champions around the world.
This year the nine charities employees selected
were: Beyond Blue, Australia; the Alzheimer
Society of Ireland; SUKA Society, Malaysia;
Miety, New Zealand; United Way, Romania; the
Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind, Sri Lanka,
the National Organization for Rare Disorders
(NORD), Young Lives vs Cancer, United
Kingdom; United States; and the Blue Dragon
Children’s Foundation, Vietnam; and between
them we’re delighted that they represented a
broad coverage of important causes.
In FY24 £1.3m was donated via employee
fundraising, Access matching and The Access
Foundation grants to Charities of the Year)
along with 7,618 volunteering hours delivered.
Naturally our goal was to surpass these
numbers in FY25 and we’re pleased to report
that was indeed the case with ultimately
£1.55m donated and 10,405 volunteering hours
delivered.
