Wellbeing, health and safety
Although Access operates in a low-risk sector,
well-being, health and safety remain priorities.
Given people are at the heart of our business
we place a signi昀椀cant focus on employee wellbeing, and balance our e昀昀orts across emotional,
physical and 昀椀nancial education and support
– this is re昀氀ected in our in our eNPS scores:
we ended FY25 on +54 for “I believe Access
prioritises my wellbeing”.
During FY25 we introduced a new question
to our engagement survey – “Senior leaders
at Access show that employee wellbeing is
important to them” which ended the year on
+51.
We now have 84 wellbeing champions who are
involved in raising awareness and promoting
wellbeing across the business. This year
we launched our Mental Health First Aiders
network and now have 78 mental health 昀椀rst
aiders trained and certi昀椀ed, providing good
coverage across all locations globally. We will
next implement a train-the-trainer programme
enabling us to extend mental health support
quickly through the organisation.
Diversity and inclusion
We also o昀昀er an extensive Employee Assistance
Programme (EAP) to all employees and their
immediate family members. This provides
immediate access to a network of quali昀椀ed
external experts able to o昀昀er support across a
full range of life challenges should they require
it.
Studies show that inclusive, diverse companies
consistently outperform peers by leveraging a
broader range of perspectives and experiences.
With regard to physical health and safety, we
have robust governance processes in place
across the Group. Policy is developed, locally
adapted and executed through our Global
Health and Safety Committee which includes
every local facilities lead around the world.
Whilst we adhere strictly to local requirements
in all jurisdictions, we typically use UK Health
and Safety guidelines to inform global policy
in the knowledge this represents a high
benchmark relative to most countries we
operate in. O昀케ces in countries with stricter
requirements must comply with the local higher
standard. All and any accidents are logged
globally and we are pleased to report that only
昀椀ve workplace incidents were reported in FY25.
As a globally connected business, Access
recognises the immense value that inclusion
brings. Our people are central to our success,
and we are committed to building a welcoming
culture that celebrates individuality and
empowers everyone to perform at their best.
Environments where individuals feel seen,
heard, and appreciated foster higher levels of
engagement, creativity and collaboration.
When asked in our monthly engagement survey,
our employees already rate Access as a highly
inclusive workplace with an impressive eNPS of
+70. In FY25 we placed renewed emphasis on
diversity and inclusion. This year we have set
up four global employee community groups to
power our e昀昀orts in this area:
•
GRACE – (Global Race Acceptance Community
Ensemble) – focusing on culture, race and
ethnicity
•
WISE – (Women in Software Empowered)
– focusing on empowering women to thrive at
Access
•
OPEN – (Our Proud Empowered Network) –
powering our LGBTQ+ community
•
ABLE – (Accessibility, Belonging, Listening,
Empowerment) – ensuring Access is accessible to
all our employees
